À propos de l'auteur
Gordon Turriff, Q.C., was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1975 and retired from practice in July 2015. Mr. Turriff is a visiting scholar, with the title Bencher-in-Residence, at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC. He was formerly counsel to Stikeman Elliott LLP in its Vancouver office, is a past President and now Life Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia. Since 1981 his work has been extensively concerned with lawyer-client financial relationships and costs of litigation. He was a founding member and is a former director of the British Columbia Law Institute, successor to the Law Reform Commission of British Columbia, and he is the author of the Annotated British Columbia Legal Profession Act and co-author of British Columbia Annual Practice (Canada Law Book).
