About the Author
Walter M. Traub, B.A., LL.B., LL.M., has practiced law for over 35 years. He is currently a partner with the law firm of Goldman, Sloan, Nash and Haber LLP. His practice is devoted almost exclusively to representing financial institutions in all aspects of financial transactions, and includes work-outs and bankruptcy and insolvency matters.

Mr. Traub has been certified as a Specialist in Real Estate Law by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Mr. Traub taught the Bar Admission Course in the fields of real estate, mortgages, estate planning and estate administration for many years and is the author of numerous articles on real estate and mortgage transactions. He has also chaired, and been a member of, several committees advising on legislation affecting real estate, construction law, mortgage law and loan and trust law in the Province of Ontario.
