About the Author
Hamish C. Stewart is Associate Professor of Law at the University of Toronto. His teaching and scholarship is primarily concerned with criminal law, the law of evidence and legal theory. In 1992-93, he was law clerk to the judges of the Ontario Court of Appeal and from 1998 to 2007 he served on the editorial boards of the Dominion Law Reports and the Canadian Criminal Cases. He is the author of numerous scholarly papers and the general editor of Evidence: A Canadian Casebook (2d ed., 2006).
