Michael Libby, B.A., LL.B., a partner at Dolden Wallace Folick LLP, has extensive experience as a litigator and represents insurers in the defence of liability claims. A significant part of his practice is comprised of defending commercial hosts in tort actions. He has appeared before all levels of Court in British Columbia as well as the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench and numerous administrative tribunals. Mr. Libby also has considerable experience in the defence and prosecution of alcohol and motor vehicle related offences under the Criminal Code and provincial statutes. Mr. Libby is a regular guest instructor for the litigation component of B.C.'s Professional Legal Training Course, is the Program Director for the Inns of Court Program (an educational program for young lawyers) and is the co-author of Annotated British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act and Liquor and Host Liability Law in Canada (Canada Law Book).

Alex Choi, B.A., J.D., is an associate at MacKenzie Fujisawa LLP. He has a general civil litigation practice focusing on the areas of personal injury and commercial litigation. He also has experience in privacy and criminal law. He obtained his J.D. from Queen's University in 2013. After graduating, he spent a year conducting legal research specifically on the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act. He subsequently articled at a personal injury boutique and was called to the bar in January 2016.
