Barry B. Fisher, LL.B., is a barrister, arbitrator and mediator in the area of labour and employment law. He was called to the bar in 1979 and has been an active ADR practitioner for eight years. As a labour arbitrator, Mr. Fisher has served as the chairperson on hundreds of both statutory and private arbitrations. As a mediator, Mr. Fisher has helped parties resolve numerous employment and labour disputes. He is the co-author of Wrongful Dismissal Database.

Charif El-Khouri is an Associate in the Employment & Labour Group at Stikeman Elliott LLP in Montreal. Charif supports and regularly advises clients on lobbying matters as well as in the management of all their employment law needs and the drafting of employment agreements and policies, particularly with regard to compensation, incentive plans, privacy and personal information protection, non-competition and other restrictive covenants, French language in the workplace, occupational health and safety, and human rights and reasonable accommodation. He conducts workplace investigations and supports clients in conducting their own internal investigations.

Charif appears regularly before administrative tribunals and civil courts in dealing with various recourses for termination of employment, judicial review proceedings as well as injunctions and other exceptional remedies. In corporate matters, Charif provides employment and labour law support to public and private clients in the context of purchase and sale transactions.
