About the Author
Marie-Anne Bowden, B.A., LL.B., LL.M., is Associate Dean at the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan, where she teaches property and environmental law. Professor Bowden joined the faculty in 1981.She was the College's first Associate Dean in 1993. Her research interests include environmental law, public interest advocacy, water law and property law. She was Chairperson of the Saskatchewan Environmental Assessment Review Commission (1991-92), and was author of its Report. She is an editor of the Canadian Journal of Environmental Law & Policy, now located at the College of Law, and is a co-author of Carswell’s Understanding Property - A Guide to Canada's Property Law.
