About the Author

Brenda-Jean Currie, B.A., LL.B., has been the author of The Annotated Business Corporations Act of Alberta, 3rd Edition since 1989. She is also the author of Mines and Minerals (Western) and Municipal and School Taxation (Western) – Canadian Encyclopedic Digest, 4th Edition, the associate editor of Western Practice Digest (1981-1993), and author of Mines and Minerals Law in Canada (publishing June 2019). She is a frequent contributor to the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest and a former member of its editorial board.
