About the Author
Richard H. Krempulec, Q.C. LL.M. (ADR) was a senior partner in the firm of Blaney McMurty LLP who is now retired from active litigation practice, and is engaged as a mediator, arbitrator or neutral evaluator as well as providing advice. His practice is restricted to litigation, specializing in insurance, corporate, and commercial disputes, and he has extensive experience as counsel in cases involving property damage, directors and officers' liability, products liability, contract claims, and insurance coverage issues. Mr. Krempulec is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Advocates' Society of Upper Canada, Advocates' Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, Defence Research Institute, the American Bar Association, and the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association. He also guest lectures on insurance and commercially related topics, as well as tactics and strategy in negotiations, and has acted as a judge at the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop at York University.
