About the Author
Keith R. Hamilton, B.A., LL.B., LL.M., is a lawyer in private practice in Vancouver, with extensive experience in providing consulting services to self-governing professions. He is a former director of research and planning for the Law Society of British Columbia and the Legal Aid Society of British Columbia. Mr. Hamilton has taught criminal law, advanced criminal procedures, and trial advocacy courses as a faculty member at the University of British Columbia's law school, and participated in numerous continuing legal education programs. He is the author of three legal reference texts and has published articles on a variety of legal topics in legal journals and the Vancouver Sun.
