About the Author
Kay Hubbard is a humour-loving, strategic management consultant, organization development specialist, coach, facilitator, adult educator, and human resources professional. She has over 20 years of varied work experience in the private and public sector – primarily in the healthcare, government and the publishing industries.

She has worked as a healthcare executive, private management consultant, director of quality improvement, director of education and organization development. Her passion is driving strategic alignment and employee engagement at all levels. She brings special expertise in strategy, leadership, training, coaching and organization development. She has also provided instruction at the University of Western Ontario, Fanshawe College, Ryerson University and Humber College in Adult Education. She has published numerous articles and is currently co-authoring a book on Coaching.

Kay has a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Illinois, a master's degree in Epidemiology from the University of Western Ontario and a doctorate in Education (specialty in organization development/change management) from the University of Toronto. She has advanced certification in coaching from Coach University and the International Coaches Federation. She also holds certificates in management, quality improvement, alternative dispute resolution and a variety of training programs and instruments (such as Myers-Briggs Typology -MBTI).

Kay has a passion for the positive and thanks the various organizations and Human Resources departments that have enabled her experience. Kay's personal interests include gardening, watercolour painting, singing and time at the cottage in Haliburton, Ontario. Kay lives in Pickering, Ontario and enjoys time with family and friends. She dedicates this book to her husband who provided continual encouragement.
