Consolidated British Columbia Labour & Employment Law Statutes and Regulations 2020 provides access to all the relevant British Columbia labor and employment law statutes and regulations in one place. It's an annual publication designed to consolidate and keep current the statutes and regulations relevant to the practice and study of labor and employment law in British Columbia. It includes the revised Workers Compensation Act. The revised Workers Compensation Act, R.S.B.C. 2019, c. 1, came into force on April 6, 2020 as a limited revision under the Statute Revision Act. The 2020 edition of Consolidated British Columbia Labour & Employment Law Statutes and Regulations includes both the old and revised versions of the Act, as well as a table of concordance comparing the two versions. Also incorporates the Employment Standards Amendment Act (No. 2), 2020 (Bill 16). The Employment Standards Amendment Act (No. 2), 2020, S.B.C. 2020, c. 6, came into force on March 23, 2020. It amended the Employment Standards Act to provide for leave related to COVID-19, with rights and obligations retroactive to January 27, 2020.
