Amendments to legislation and practice directions made since the last edition of this work have been incorporated and are summarized in the Recent Developments section. In particular, the important changes to practice and procedure resulting from the Federal Court of Appeal’s Consolidated Practice Direction and the Federal Court’s Amended Consolidated General Practice Guidelines, as well as the Federal Court’s notice on The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Court Proceedings, have been referenced.
