About the Author

The Honourable Mr. Justice Todd Archibald was appointed to the Superior Court of Justice in Ontario in 1999. He is Co-Director of the Osgoode Hall Law School part-time LL.M. program in Civil Litigation and a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Osgoode where he teaches Advanced Evidence and Advanced Trial Advocacy. Before his appointment, he was a partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (as it is now known) where he practiced civil and criminal litigation. He has written numerous articles on civil, criminal and environmental law matters. He is also the co-editor of Annual Review of Civil Litigation and the co-author of Regulatory and Corporation Liability: From Due Diligence to Risk Management. The Honourable Mr. Justice Todd Archibald was awarded the 2015 David Walter Mundell Medal for his contribution to legal writing.

Kenneth E. Jull, B.A., LL.B., LL.M. practices in the area of litigation and compliance at Gardiner Roberts LLP, and is presently on an interchange with the Competition Bureau in Ottawa as General Counsel. Mr. Jull teaches in the area of Corporate Liability and Regulatory Offences at the graduate level at Osgoode Hall Law School and teaches a Financial Crimes and Compliance Course at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.
Kent W. Roach is Prichard-Wilson Chair of Law and Public Policy at the University of Toronto and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Yale, and a former law clerk to Justice Bertha Wilson of the Supreme Court of Canada. Professor Roach has authored and co-authored many publications including Regulatory and Corporate Liability: From Due Diligence to Risk Management (2005) with Ken Jull and Justice Todd Archibald and Constitutional Remedies in Canada (Canada Law Book). He frequently appears as counsel in criminal and constitutional cases.
