Les modifications non en vigueur à cette date sont reproduites en ombragé. Veuillez noter que nous avons toutefois considéré comme en vigueur les dispositions de L.C. 2026, ch. 11 ; L.C. 2026, ch. 12 ; L.C. 2026, ch. 15 et L.C. 2026, ch. 19 dont l’entrée en vigueur est prévue pour juillet 2026.

Voici les principales modifications depuis la dernière édition du Code criminel — Codification bilingue.
Les modifications au Code criminel, à la Loi réglementant certaines drogues et autres substances, à la Loi sur le casier judiciaire, à la Loi sur le système correctionnel et la mise en liberté sous condition, à la Loi sur le système de justice pénale pour les adolescents et à la Loi sur les armes à feu apportées par la Loi modifiant certaines lois en matière pénale et correctionnelle (protection de l’enfance, violence fondée sur le sexe, délais et autres mesures) (L.C. 2026, ch. 19), les modifications au Code criminel et à la Loi sur l’enregistrement de renseignements sur les délinquants sexuels apportées par la Loi modifiant la Loi sur la défense nationale et d’autres lois (L.C. 2026, ch. 16), ainsi que les modifications au Code criminel et à la Loi sur le système de justice pénale pour les adolescents apportées par la Loi modifiant le Code criminel, la Loi sur le système de justice pénale pour les adolescents et la Loi sur la défense nationale (mise en liberté sous caution et détermination de la peine) (L.C. 2026, ch. 11).

The Criminal Code — French / English Consolidation 2027 includes all amendments to the Criminal Code and to related statutes, up-to-date as of July 1st, 2026.
Legislative amendments not in force at that date are indicated by gray shaded text. However, please note that we have considered as in force the amendments provided for by S.C. 2026, c. 11; S.C. 2026, c. 12; S.C. 2026, c. 15 and S.C. 2026, c. 19 scheduled to come into force in July 2026.

Presented below are the most significant amendments since the previous edition of the Criminal Code — French / English Consolidation.
Amendments to the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the Criminal Records Act, the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and the Firearms Act provided for by An Act to amend certain Acts in relation to criminal and correctional matters (child protection, gender-based violence, delays and other measures) (S.C. 2026, c. 19), amendments to the Criminal Code and the Sex Offender Information Registration Act provided for by An Act to amend the National Defence Act and other Acts (S.C. 2026, c. 16), and amendments to the Criminal Code and the Youth Criminal Justice Act provided for by An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and the National Defence Act (bail and sentencing) (S.C. 2026, c. 11).
We also note the amendments to the Criminal Code provided for by An Act to amend the Criminal Code (sterilization procedures) (S.C. 2026, c. 10), An Act to amend the Criminal Code (S.C. 2026, c. 12), and An Act to amend the Criminal Code (hate propaganda, hate crime and access to religious or cultural places) (S.C. 2026, c. 15).
