About the Author
Garry Mancell is a partner in the Vancouver office of DLA Piper (Canada) LLP and a Registered Professional Forester with more than 30 years of experience in the forest industry in BC. Garry's practice is focused on the regulatory and commercial aspects of forestry, timber harvesting, transportation, fibre supply and forest products. His clients include tenure holders, log brokers, trade associations, contractors, First Nations and consultants. Prior to joining the firm in 1988, he practised as in-house counsel for a large integrated British Columbia forest products company. He is an Adjunct Professor (forestry law) of the UBC Faculty of Law and an editor of British Columbia Forestry Law (Canada Law Book).
