About the Author
The Late Honourable Mr. Justice Randall Scott Echlin was appointed to the Superior Court of Justice in Ontario in 2003. Before his appointment, he practiced at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and was the National Chair of the Employment Law Department. An Honourary Life Fellow of The College of Labour & Employment Lawyers, Mr. Justice Echlin was consistently referenced in Lexpert Canada's Leading Employment Lawyers as one of the Top 500 Lawyers in Canada. He has published seven books on various employment law topics.

Christine Thomlinson, B.A., LL.B., is considered one of the country's foremost experts in workplace investigations. In addition to being frequently retained as an as investigator, Ms. Thomlinson is often called on for her penetrating insight into employment law and workplace-related issues. Along with Janice Rubin, Ms. Thomlinson is the co-founder and co-managing partner of Rubin Thomlinson LLP – named by Canadian Lawyer Magazine as one of the Top 10 Labour & Employment Law Boutique Firms in Canada in both 2016/17 and 2018/19.
