About the Author
The late David Allan Coulson was a practitioner who specialized in builders' liens and construction law from 1981 to 1989. He participated in CLE courses on Builders' Liens.
Dirk Laudan is a litigation partner in the construction law group of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, practising in construction law with a focus in builders liens, surety claims, home warranty insurance claims, and contract disputes. He has been chair of the CBA (BC Branch) Construction Law Section and the CBA National Construction Section executive, and has published extensively in the area of builders liens and construction law. Mr. Laudan was called to the bar in 1997 and was educated at the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia.
