About the Author

Craig Brown is an Emeritus Professor of Law, Western University. His academic career was concentrated in the areas of insurance law and torts. He has served as a consultant to lawyers, governments and industry associations on matters relating to insurance law and torts. He has also served as an adjudicator in insurance matters.

Thomas J. Donnelly is one of Canada's leading insurance coverage lawyers and represents both policyholders and insurers in coverage disputes. He practices law at Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP. Together with Craig Brown, Thomas Donnelly is co-author of Insurance Law in Canada and Insurance Contract Interpretation, both published by Carswell.
