About the Author
Lawrence G. Theall, is the Senior Partner of Theall Group LLP, and is a commercial litigator with trial and appellate experience before all levels of Ontario and Federal Courts. He has a broad practice with particular expertise in the areas of product liability, commercial insurance and alternative disputes resolution.
J. Scott Maidment is a Partner of McMillan LLP in Toronto, where his practice is focused on complex litigation including product liability and class action defence. Mr. Maidment has earned an international reputation for excellence in his field. Teresa Dufort is a partner in McMillan's Litigation Group, co-Leader of the firm's Product Liability Defence and Regulatory Group and active in the Class Action Group. Ms. Dufort's practice is heavily focused on product liability defence and products related regulatory issues. She acts as the prime Canadian counsel to numerous Canadian, American, European and Asian manufacturers and distributors of consumer and industrial products.
