About the Author
Daniel Byskal, B.A., B.A.Sc., J.D., practices exclusively in the area of Municipal law as counsel for various municipal corporations, including the Corporation of the City of London and Corporation of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. Daniel's areas of specialty include municipal law, the building code, the fire code, and matters under the Provincial Offences Act. Daniel has prosecuted over 25,000 provincial offences before the Ontario Court of Justice, and has been past director on the Board of the Prosecutors' Association of Ontario. Daniel has represented municipalities before the Fire Safety Commission, Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal of Ontario, and a variety of other administrative tribunals. He currently is an adjunct lecturer the University of Waterloo.
