About the Author
James C. Raymond, Ph.D., is currently President of the International Institute for Legal Writing + Reasoning, located in New York. Formerly he was Professor and Director of English Composition at the University of Alabama, Assistant Dean of the Graduate School, and Editor of College English. He has conducted legal writing seminars for the National Academy for Judicial Education, the Federal Trade Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, and numerous state judiciaries and private law firms. His international experience includes programs conducted for in Antigua, Australia, Canada, England, Ethiopia, Guyana, Hong Kong, India, Jamaica, Malaysia, Malawi, Mauritius, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, The People's Republic of China, The Philippines, Rwanda, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
