Les modifications au Code criminel, à la Loi sur l’identification des criminels et à la Loi sur la preuve au Canada apportées par la Loi concernant la lutte contre l’ingérence étrangère (L.C. 2024, ch. 16), ainsi que les modifications au Code criminel apportées par la Loi no 1 d’exécution du budget de 2024 (L.C. 2024, ch. 17) et la Loi modifiant le Code criminel et une autre loi en conséquence (mise en liberté provisoire et engagement en cas de violence familiale) (L.C. 2024, ch. 22).
Signalons également l’entrée en vigueur le 6 mars 2025 de certaines modifications au Code criminel prévues par la Loi sur la Commission d’examen des erreurs du système judiciaire (Loi de David et Joyce Milgaard) (L.C. 2024, ch. 33), ainsi que l’entrée en vigueur le 1er septembre 2024 et le 1eroctobre 2024 de certaines modifications à la Loi sur les armes à feu et au Code criminel prévues par la Loi modifiant certaines lois et d’autres textes en conséquence (armes à feu) (L.C. 2023, ch. 32).
Les modifications apportées par la Loi modifiant le Code criminel et d’autres lois en conséquence (matériel d’abus et d’exploitation pédosexuels) (L.C. 2024, ch. 23) ne sont pas en vigueur à la date de publication.

Presented below are the most significant amendments since the previous edition of the Criminal Code — French / English Consolidation.
Amendments to the Criminal Code, the Identification of Criminals Act, and the Canada Evidence Act provided for by the Countering Foreign Interference Act (S.C. 2024, c. 16), as well as amendments to the Criminal Code provided for by Budget Implementation Act, 2024, No. 1 (S.C. 2024, c. 17) and by An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to another Act (interim release and domestic violence recognizance orders) (S.C. 2024, c. 22).
We also note the coming into force, on March 6, 2025, of amendments to the Criminal code provided for by the Miscarriage of Justice Review Commission Act (David and Joyce Milgaard’s Law) (S.C. 2024, c. 33), as well as the coming into force, on September 1st, 2024 and on October 1st, 2024, of certain amendments to the Firearms Act and the Criminal code provided for by the An Act to amend certain Acts and to make certain consequential amendments (firearms) (S.C. 2023, c. 32.
Amendments provided for by the An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to other Acts (child sexual abuse and exploitation material) (S.C. 2024, c. 23) are not in force at date of publication.
